1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by O'Dowd's Cleaning Services ("we," "us," or "our"), including but not limited to window cleaning, gutter cleaning, fascia & soffit cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, and all other cleaning and maintenance services we offer.

By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

We provide professional exterior cleaning services throughout Tipperary, Kilkenny, and surrounding areas. Our services include:

  • Window Cleaning (exterior & interior)
  • Gutter Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Fascia & Soffit Cleaning
  • Pressure Washing (driveways, paths, patios)
  • Soft Washing (roofs, render, delicate surfaces)
  • Seasonal Service Bundles

All services are carried out by trained professionals using appropriate equipment and techniques. We reserve the right to decline any job that we deem unsafe or outside our area of expertise.

3. Booking & Pricing

3.1 Quotes: All prices quoted are estimates based on the information provided by you. Final pricing may vary if the scope of work changes upon inspection.

3.2 Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us (via email, text, or through our booking system).

3.3 Pricing: Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will be communicated before work commences. Our standard pricing is available on our website and at the time of booking.

3.4 Travel Fee: For areas requiring significant travel, a €5 travel fee may apply. This will be communicated at the time of booking.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments unless otherwise agreed.

4.2 Payment Due: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. For recurring services (e.g., regular window cleaning), payment is due at each visit.

4.3 Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments at a rate of 2% per month, or the maximum rate permitted by law.

4.4 Deposits: For larger jobs, we may require a deposit. The deposit amount and terms will be agreed upon before work commences.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

5.1 Customer Cancellation: We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.

5.2 Our Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to reschedule at the earliest convenience.

5.3 No-Show: If we arrive at the scheduled time and are unable to access the property or commence work, the full service fee may be charged.

6. Access & Safety

6.1 Access: You must provide clear and safe access to all areas requiring cleaning. This includes unlocking gates, clearing obstacles, and securing pets.

6.2 Safety Concerns: You must inform us of any safety concerns, hazards, or risks on your property before work commences (e.g., aggressive pets, loose roof tiles, fragile surfaces, parking restrictions).

6.3 Right to Decline: We reserve the right to decline or cease work if we deem the working conditions unsafe or if access is restricted.

6.4 Pets: Pets must be secured away from work areas. We are not responsible for pets that escape due to open gates or doors during service.

7. Liability & Insurance

7.1 Insurance: O'Dowd's Cleaning Services is fully insured for public liability. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

7.2 Pre-Existing Damage: We recommend you point out any pre-existing damage before we commence work. We are not liable for pre-existing damage to your property.

7.3 Surface Damage: While we use appropriate techniques and cleaning solutions for each surface, some delicate or aged surfaces may react unexpectedly. We are not liable for damage to surfaces that are already weakened, deteriorated, or not suited to the cleaning method agreed upon.

7.4 Claims: Any claims for damage must be reported within 48 hours of service completion and supported by photographic evidence.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

We take pride in our work. If you are not satisfied with the results, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will return to address any reasonable concerns at no additional cost.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal data (name, address, email, phone number) solely for the purpose of providing and communicating about our services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as necessary to provide our services.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of O'Dowd's Cleaning Services and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce or use our content without written permission.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
